On Saturday morning, bright and early, I headed down to Tacoma for Hannah and Jerphy’s wedding. I arrived at the Northwest Baptist Seminary a little early but it was fun having time to explore the stunning grounds before everyone showed up at 9am to start setting up.

I have the best job on the planet! On Monday, I spent another very enjoyable day with the employees at Murray Franklyn, photographing their company golf tournament. They booked the entire course at Snoqualmie Ridge for the day, and I got my own little cart to ride around in with my photo gear. It was so much fun!

I’m on a mission to post at least one non-work photo each week. It’s good for the soul! Taken at Golden Gardens on Saturday, while Katie and Bobby were parking.
Hurray for sunshine! I can’t believe that after months of dull, cold, miserable weather we had such an amazing day today. It was great timing - I met with Katie and Bobby late morning for their engagement session and although it was a little crazy at our first stop, Golden Gardens, it was so nice to be warm at the beach.

After some teething issues, it finally looks like the new blog is running nicely and loading in less than three hours. Hurray! There are many more tweaks to be made, and lots of photos to swap out … but at least you should be able to see me at work!
I’ve been giving my image an overhaul: new logo, new colors, new photo borders and of course a new blog. I’d love to know what you think!
And because no post on a photographer’s blog is complete without a photo, here’s my doggy, Porter. He rocks.
I’m a little behind with my blog posting … but that’s because I’ve been working on my brand new blog! I’d been looking for a smarter, slicker design that will allow me to show nice big photos, and I finally found it. Anyway, back to last weekend. After Chris & Nicole’s wedding on Friday, I traveled down to Renton on Saturday for Tamara and Jai’s wedding.
You may remember Nicole and Chris from their engagement session earlier this year … well, it was finally time for their wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire event happened at the Monte Villa Farmhouse in Bothell, another fantastic indoor-outdoor venue.

After a glorious sunny wedding on Saturday, the heavens opened again and Sunday afternoon was filled with gloomy gray skies and drizzly rain. Not to worry - my engagement session couple, Christa and Shaun, were all big smiles and bright eyes and made it feel a lot more cheery than it was!
