Last Wednesday evening, I met with Tecla and Craig for the final installment of their fabulous photographic story – their trash the dress (TTD) session. I suggested Golden Gardens for contrast with their engagement photos and wedding shots, and boy am I glad I did. It was such a beautiful evening, and *just* warm enough for a little swimming …

We started off in the sand dunes. Here’s a particularly moody look from Tecla – what a rock star!

I made Tecla crawl into the undergrowth for a few minutes – I think she thought I was a little nuts at this point …

We headed into the little patch of trees near the bathhouse for some more couples shots.

These guys are pros at making out on cue!

A little fisheye fun with the magical fluffy sky:

As the sun began to dip, we headed out onto the beach. I asked Tecla to spin and spin and spin … at one point she mentioned that she was getting a bit dizzy … to which I think I replied, “I don’t care!!”

After lots of spinning it was finally time to head into the water – Tecla is such a trooper!! She went all the way in, and even had a swim for me – I was mightily impressed!

I love soggy brides!

We definitely did some trashing:

Our last stop of the evening was the gorgeous red brick bathhouse. I just love the arches there.

Thank you so, so much Tecla and Craig for being amazing sports and totally rocking your trash the dress session!
