On Saturday we were once again blessed with sunshine and a little warmth … or at least, not so much cold that we were forced to stay indoors! I started my day with Chris and his groomsmen who were getting quite the star treatment at fabulous Capelli’s barbershop downtown. The girls there are a hoot, and what with donuts, coffee and straight blade razors to keep them occupied it was the perfect start to their day. The lighting in there kept me on my toes, that’s for sure!
Next stop: the Sorrento Hotel, where Megan had previously hand-picked her gorgeously bright and spacious suite – bliss for me! I arrived just as Erin Skipley was finishing off Megan’s makeup (beautiful work as always, Erin) and soon after the suite filled with bridesmaids, ring-bearers and moms. I love it when there’s a hive of activity – it makes for great emotions.
Running a little late, we went straight from the first look into some family formals … then it was off to my new favorite photo spot at Seattle U for an hour of bridal party photos. Super fun! I love, love, love the parasols from Bella Umbrella, and I had a ton of fun with the reflection pool. Just before we lost all our light, I joined Megan and Chris on a mini tour of Seattle hot spots for their couples photos, then on we went to one of my all-time favorite venues, Lake Union Cafe for the ceremony (short but sweet) and reception (craziness!) Have a fab time in Mexico, Mr and Mrs Schneider, and enjoy your teaser pics and slideshow!
