Back in September, while I was out in Seattle for a couple of weddings, I met up with Kat and Justin for a trash the dress session. I’d photographed Kat before, and after seeing their gorgeous wedding photos I was stoked to be able to photograph this gorgeous couple together in a couple of my favorite spots. Kat’s beautiful Pronovias Diamante gown was set off perfectly by jewelry by Rockstella from Essenza in Fremont, with makeup by the fabulous Melissa Korn. I also love how Kat styled her hair for the shoot – funky and fun – just right for our locations in Georgetown and the Olympic Sculpture Park.
Justin and Kat are amazing models – and I was surprised at how little direction they needed. It could just be that Kat’s experience behind the lens plays a part; she’s a phenomenal photographer herself, and although she’s not been in business long she’s already creating a storm in Seattle – check out her wedding, engagement and boudoir portfolio here.
