Amy and Jon’s ceremony was held in the Washburn Pavilion at the Museum of Science, right on the Charles River.  It’s such a neat spot, with amazing views of both Boston and Cambridge, and has the added bonus of being right on the Duck Tour route so you get a lot of cheering from random strangers as you’re making your vows.  And cheer they did! 

Some details to start us off …  As well as the traditional accoutrements for a Jewish ceremony, you might spot the ropes used for the Irish tradition of handfasting:

A family friend provided the ceremony music.  I love how happy Amy and her parents look, processing down the aisle:

This ceremony was such a treat for me to photograph – it was a great length (so many ceremonies just fly by) and it was incredibly well personalized to Jon and Amy.  I love it when I feel I know the couple ten times better by the end of the ceremony.

One of my very favorite moments (of course!) was when their daughter doggy Hannah brought their rings down the aisle for the ring exchange.  She did such a great job – and just look how cute she and Amy look, shaking hand and paw!

The final shot of the ceremony has to be my favorite, though.  The huge smiles and pretty bubbles were awesome.  Coming soon: the reception!
