Chris + Jess’ ceremony was held on the grand steps overlooking the Italianate Garden at Elm Bank. Guests were greeted with iced tea, then processed up past the fountain, through rows of flowers. A string quartet played classical versions of – amongst other things – U2′s Beautiful Day. I thought that was fitting. ![]()
Jess had been emotional all day – and the ceremony was no exception! I love the photos of her with her dad just before walking down the aisle. Also, how awesome are Jess’ niece and nephews? They did a great job as flower girl and ring bearers.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Elissa Johnk, who was absolutely wonderful (and cute as a button!) I love how she personalized the service, and included both emotional and funny anecdotes. You can find Elissa at Wellesley Congregational Church.
Longer ceremonies are wonderful; I can photograph all the cute moments, as well as the reactions of family and friends.
Some final moments from this beautiful ceremony:
And of course – there’s more coming along very soon …
