Here are some of the good people I’ve been lucky enough to work with recently.
CATERER Delivering mouth-watering food with a huge smile, Season to Taste Catering love food and people. I’ve never worked with another crew that is so much fun to be around, and even the vegetarian lunch they served up recently had this die-hard carnivore clamoring for more. Yum!

DJ Nate Oinonen at Boston Party Productions is my new favorite DJ. He is the antithesis of the cheesy wedding disc jockey, and he lends a certain cool factor to the events at which he spins. If you’re looking for young and enthusiastic with an immense knowledge of music of all genres, you can’t go wrong with Nate.

FLOWERS Michele Bernard is a creative genius – her unique, vibrant, modern take on floral decoration blows me away.

HAIR + MAKEUP Lisette Murphy is a fellow JP girl and an absolute doll. Not only have I worked with her for two boudoir sessions and loved how she brought out the inner temptress in my clients, she’s also worked her magic on me and I LOVED the results. Gorgeous, sexy makeup that stays put all day. And from the first hug when you meet her she’ll feel like your BFF. Love her! Click here for the Styling by Lisette website.

MAIL ORDER AWESOMENESS For the best popcorn you’ve ever tasted, try Popcorn Country in Tucson, AZ. It makes for a great favor, especially when you create a custom label with your wedding colors. Paloma’s Nest is one of my favorite Etsy stores – the sweet ceramic dishes make beautiful gifts for your bridal party, parents … or even your photographer (thank you Sara and Tom!) And of course you can use them as they were originally intended: as a ring bearer bowl. Another Etsy store making waves is Lila Frances. Her personalized wire hangers add a sweet touch to the photo of your dress.
VIDEO If you’re looking for a fun, laid-back videographer who truly documents your day from the sidelines, try Rocco Michaluk of Video & Vision. His day job is documentary filmmaker … so you’re in good hands.
