Miss M: Boston Boudoir Session

I haven’t been doing a whole lot of boudoir recently, so the few sessions I have had have been a real treat. Last week’s session with the delightful and utterly gorgeous Miss M was one of my favorite ever sessions, and I can’t even tell you how happy I am that she allowed me to blog her session! Miss M ordered a very sexy black silk album for her photos (lucky hubby-to-be!), and the images below come mostly from her album selections. Oh! I have to give a shout-out here to the awesome Lisette Murphy who helped Miss M on her way to camera-ready vixen. Lisette does hair and makeup all over the Boston area and beyond and she’s a ton of fun to work with – highly recommended!

I always recommend starting with something simple and comfortable – M’s white wife-beater and bright pink boy-shorts were perfect.

Victoria’s Secret has some very cool stuff for boudoir sessions – including M’s sexy little apron you see above. Fun!

M’s fiance is a huge sports fan, and we had a giggle working it with the baseball bat.

I love love love this soft blue color on Miss M. So pretty!

Black always looks gorgeous … with stockings, or without.

Pink + leopard print screams FUN so I’m glad I caught a very real laugh from M in this set. And look at her amazing back in those last two photos – photographing M has been a huge inspiration for me as I try to get back into shape again.

Boston Boudoir Photography … in Seattle! Hotel Session with Ms K

A couple of weeks ago, the delectable Ms K took advantage of my most recent visit to Seattle for an awesomely sultry boudoir session at the Sheraton Bellevue. I was a little worried about the lighting situation when we first went into the room – there was a floor to ceiling window at one end of the very long, thin room, and not a whole lot else to work with … but Ms K’s session turned out to be one of my very favorite sessions ever. I love how we played up the moodiness of the light, and Ms K was amazingly natural in her poses. She was channeling Tyra, no doubt about it. Love! I am super excited that I get to share so many images from her session … and I can’t wait for her wedding this winter, yeah!

Oh and no, these aren’t safe for work …

Boudoir with the Beautiful Miss K

Just over a week ago, Miss K came to my studio for her boudoir session … all the way from San Diego! Although, I guess I should admit that she didn’t travel all that way *just* for her boudoir session – she’s getting married here in Seattle too, and was up visiting for her bridal shower. Still, I thought that was pretty cool.

Miss K was amazing to work with – not only is she stunningly beautiful, she’s also a complete natural in front of the camera. I love her lingerie choices too – sexy and sultry but not too much. What a dream! Anyway, I was really excited when she let me know she was happy to share some photos on my blog … so without further ado, here are some of my favorites. Oh, and these are not safe for work in case you were wondering …

Boudoir Teasers for Mrs M

Last week, I had a BLAST shooting Mrs M’s boudoir session. She came in on her 35th birthday, with the session being her birthday gift to herself (how awesome is that?) She was celebrating a couple of major milestones in her life, and I love that her session was for her to enjoy herself and feel fabulous. Mrs M loves her photos so much that she gave me free reign to pick whichever favorites I wanted to show off, so here they are! Huge thanks to Katie Cordery for once again doing a fabulous job with hair and makeup. Enjoy!

Boudoir Teasers for Miss B

Yay, I’m so excited to have another fabulous boudoir session to share on my blog! Miss B came in for her session on Friday, and she was a total rockstar to work with. She also brought along her friend, Miss A, and I really enjoyed having her there to bounce ideas off. We got some great light on Friday, and the natural light studio worked so well with Miss B’s pretty pretty pastels. Delicious! There’ll be more photos of the fabulous Miss B in a couple of months … only next time she’ll be fully clothed

Boudoir Teasers for Ms. M

On Tuesday, the lovely Ms. M came over for her boudoir session and she had some of the most fun props I’ve seen in a long while! Her soon-to-be hubby is a car technician, so she grabbed his crawler, some tools and his favorite work shirt. It was a bit of a challenge working in the crawler, but one of the crawler shots ended up being a definite favorite.

Huge thanks to Ms. M for being a super-star model and for letting me share a few of her favorite shots. And I hope you have an amazing wedding in a couple of weeks!

Boudoir Teasers for Mrs P

Last Tuesday, the fabulous Mrs P. came to my studio for her long-awaited boudoir session. Now Mrs P. is a fairly quiet, sweet and gentle soul on the outside, but to my complete surprise she was a total DIVA in the boudoir! She was such a natural with the posing, and I’m not sure that it’ s due solely to her America’s Next Top Model addiction …

It was a super fun session, and I’m so happy she’s up for sharing a few of her favorites, and a few of mine too. You’ve got a lucky hubby at home, Mrs P – and I bet he’s a very happy man come Valentine’s Day! Boudoir Teasers for Miss K

A couple of weeks ago, I had a super-fun extended boudoir session with the gorgeous and totally sexy Miss K. I’d been looking forward to photographing her since she first expressed interest, which must have been over a year ago (we used to work together in fact, back in my waitressing days). We ended up with a ton of cute photos and I’m excited to be making a sample album of her session in the new year – watch this space! As well as the regular soft white photos in my boudoir studio, we played around with some studio lighting for a darker, more mysterious look. I’d love to know what you all think!

Boudoir Teasers for Sarah

Last week, Sarah came to my home studio for her boudoir session and we had a blast creating these images for her to give to her new hubby on their wedding night (they are getting married this December and I am so bummed that I wasn’t available to shoot their wedding!) Sarah was so much fun to work with and I just love how her photos turned out. Isn’t she gorgeous? And she totally has that sassy look down too.
