Boston + New England Wedding Photography, Boudoir and Portraits bio picture

Hello.

I'm a Boston wedding photographer with a photojournalistic approach.  I also love fun, candid portrait photography and boudoir sessions.  My style is modern, organic and emotional, with a little bit of goofball thrown in.  My specialties?  Decisive moments, big hugs, dramatic backgrounds,
perfect details, sideways glances, goofy expressions and raw emotion.

My favorite things in the world are beer (a pint of Manny's or my hubby's home brewed porter), food (cheese or sushi, yes please!) and warm, geeky, loving, smoochy people and their doggies.  If you're looking for my website, click here.  And don't forget to leave a comment on one of the posts below - comments make me happy.  :)

Your Images

Here’s a little info on using the images on my blog.  Once I post images on my blog, they are there for you, my clients, to enjoy - and I not only allow but strongly encourage you to grab images from your photo session and show them off to your friends.  You may want to add them to an album in Facebook, upload them to your Knot profile, or maybe email them to family members.

However, there are some rules to make this fair for all of us.

  1. please only take images from your own session (if you are a friend or family member and want to use one of the blog photos, send me a quick email and I’m more than likely to agree - but please ask first!)
  2. if you re-post the images elsewhere, let me know!  It makes me happy :-)  And if you’d like to send me a link, I’d love to check it out
  3. if you have the option of posting a link back to my blog or website, please do so
  4. all of the photos on my blog and website are copyrighted and cannot be used for any commercial purpose without prior written permission (and possibly the payment of a small fee) - even if you paid for the photo session
  5. other photographers may not take images from my blog, no matter what the purpose.  Email me if you want some tips, or permission to try out an idea you’ve seen me use
  6. photos taken must not be altered or cropped; you may not remove the logo or border, and you may not crop the photo down to a smaller size.  If you want to print a photo or two, please wait for your disk to arrive in the mail, or email me and ask for a couple of images by email.  The main reason for this is that these images are low-res, low-quality, small files which have been prepared for web viewing.  They make horrible prints!

And here’s how you get the photos:

For the top photos on each post (the full-sized images) you can simply right-click and save the photos to your desktop.

For the pop-up photos, which are shown in the post in thumbnail form, right-click on the thumbnail of the image you’d like to download, and choose “open link in new tab” or “open link in new window”.  This will bring up the full-size image in a new tab or window, from where you can right-click and “save image as” to your desktop or wherever.

The photos that appear in the actual slideshows (used mostly in wedding posts) cannot by grabbed from the blog.  If there’s an image or two that you simply *must* have immediately then send me a quick email with a good description of the photo and if possible the order the number of that photo in the slideshow.  I can then send it over by email.

Thanks - and enjoy your photos!
